Eight New Paintings from the Senior’s Painting Class

I just updated the good work all of the artists in the class at Ingram’s Senior Services completed. They are producing a lot of excellent and varied work. Go to the Student Works page to see the rest of the eight works completed by the class.

Update on Senior’s Paintings

The current class of Seniors are painting up a storm. Since starting these classes in September of 2009, they have completed over 40 works of art. The maximum class size has been dropped from eight to six folks so that I have enough time to spend with each artist. Each artist has 27 weekly classes and there is a waiting list to get in. Here are four more of their works.

Deb T. completed two pen and ink drawings.

Jerry F. completed another work.

Joanne K. completed her fall painting.

Update on Two Student’s Work

Joanne K. and Nancy S. are making good progress on their paintings. Joanne has completed the far distance, and is working on the middle distance, reflections and foreground water. She will add some foreground shore and birch trees next.

Nancy S. is closing in on completing her painting. Next, she will add more detail on and around the two shacks and the rocks in the foreground. Nice work on both paintings!

Jerry F’s second painting, October, 2010. Jerry took elements from a couple of drawings and arranged them to produce this very good painting. This is Jerry’s second painting in this class. I’ve posted this is Student Works. Good job, Jerry.

Good News! Student Works Page Repaired

We have rebuilt the page for the Student Works from August 2009 through June, 2010. You can see the good work the folks did by clicking on the link at the bottom of the Student Works page.

The work is grouped by artist, and shows the good progress the emerging artists are doing.

Jim S. completed his Ireland farm painting today. Jim has completed his second class session and already signed up for the next opening. Dave G. completed his sail boat painting and it came out very good. Dave has already signed up for the next class opening, also.
