Second Try at Butternuts Painting

I tried another painting of the butternut squash. I flipped the drawing and added a dark green tablecloth.  You can see the first painting in the post below.

A Quick Study of Butternut Squash

I completed a quick study of two butternut squash this week. This will be a raffle in an upcoming art show. It’s 11 X 14, acrylic on canvas board.

Fifteen of My Paintings on Display

I have fifteen paintings on display at the Derry New Hampshire Public Library through Friday, November 30th.  There  are still life, wildlife and landscapes in this group of works.  The library is located at  64 E. Broadway, Derry NH.  The library hours are:

9:30 am to 8:30 pm: Monday through Thursday

9:30 am to 5:00 pm: Friday and Saturday

Closed Sundays and Veterans Day, Monday, November 12th

Student Completes Her Latest Work

Joanne K. completed her painting of three tug boats in the Portsmouth NH harbor.  This work is 24 X 20 inches. Great job Joanne!

Senior Students Complete More Work

Carol C., a new student, completed her first painting of a Downy Woodpecker, and it came out great!  Carol has a good start on her second painting, completing the first stage shown below.  Looking forward to seeing this still life when it’s done.

Searles Castle Entrance Completed

Searles Castle Entrance has been completed. I’m trying a few landscapes, and I’m on schedule to comple one painting a month. This road is near the previous painting of the Searles Castle Stone Arch.
